Following the final recommendations of the Local Government Boundary Commission review for the St Helens Borough, the Council will now undertake a review of polling districts, polling places and polling stations.
The review will commence today, 9 September 2021, and the first stage will be to publish the Notice of Review and a list of current polling stations. These will be published on the Council website, in the Town Hall Notice board and Libraries throughout the borough.
Ward maps of the final recommendations will be available.
All recommendations received will be considered and draft proposals will be presented to Council on 3 November 2021. The consultation period will remain open until 17 November 2021 for any further amendments. Final recommendations will be presented to Council for approval on 19 January 2022.
