I have lived in Rainford for over 30 years, I am married and have grown a grown up family.
I am honest, trustworthy, hardworking and will bring enthusiasm to the role. I would like to make a difference to those I am representing and am keen to ensure the views of the community are considered. I have a good empathy and rapport with all age groups.
I recognise the positive work that the Parish Council does for the community.
I have worked in both Public and Private sectors resulting in positive outcomes for community and individuals. The Post Office, Pilkington Plc, St Helens Chamber of Commerce and more recently the Department of Work and Pensions. I have also been self employed with Littlewood Pools/Charitable Lottery. I am currently volunteering for the Pilkington Family Trust, at Ruskin Lodge one day a week.
Finally, I have supported parents through illness, helping them maintain independence, I support my immediate family offering childcare and support.
