13 – 15 September 2024: Heritage Weekend & Rainford Parish Council 1974 – 2024

Teaming up with Rainford Heritage Society and National Heritage Weekend, the Parish Council will be hosting an Exhibition at the Village Hall from 13 – 15 September 2024, open from 10am – 4pm each day.

The aim of the exhibition is to highlight Rainford over the last 50 years; what has changed, what remains the same etc.  The Parish Council would like as many local societies and organisations to take part, with a display showing their own history over the past 50 years or longer!  Contact The Clerk, Sally Powell on 01744 884709  clerk@rainfordparishcouncil.gov.uk

As there will be Councillors and/or Parish Council staff at the Village Hall throughout the opening times, it will not be necessary for members of your group to be with your display, it will just need to be set up on Thursday 12 September, at some point.  However, if members would like to be you’re your exhibits to speak to visitors and answer questions, then they would be very welcome to do so.  Tables and chairs will be provided.

There will be a café serving hot and cold drinks and cakes throughout the Exhibition.
